STRUCK

Written and Directed by Eric Rose

“I am living in a skin turned inside out an octave above the moment before.”

STRUCK is an extraordinary story of survival. As a young man, Canadian devised theatre director Eric Rose was struck by lightning while camping in Northern Ontario. The harrowing experience indelibly shaped him and in many ways made him the artist he is today. In STRUCK, Rose examines the trauma and impact of this extreme weather event, exploring grief and his own mortality.

As a live show, STRUCK reflects Rose’s critically-acclaimed, highly theatrical aesthetic, as a compelling, thoughtful, and viscerally surprising experience created with a team of committed and insightful collaborators.

60-70 minutes in length plus a second act post-show talkback | One actor, one director/talkback host plus crew on tour
