Magpie Exchange Arts Management is an Alberta-based performing arts agency representing innovative local theatre companies who create original work exploring the human experience. Founded in 2018, its goal is to foster a growing regional culture of creation by facilitating national and international bookings of work by these artists. As our society navigates this current era of crises and social mobilization, we look forward to connecting with new ways of sharing stories and experiences.

Magpie Exchange is based just east of the Rocky Mountains where the Elbow River meets the Bow River, in a place named Moh’kinsstis.  We acknowledge the traditional territories and cultural practices of the past, present, and future generations of this great Treaty 7 region, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy - the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai - as well as the Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda Nations.
